| Cove Cottage is situated along with Cove House about 2 miles from Sea Mist Garden on 2 acres of private woodlands with spectacular water views of Blue Hill Bay. Outside there is a large deck overlooking the water. There are a table and chairs and barbecue grill. | ||

| The first floor has one bedroom with queen size bed, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, full bath and washer/dryer, and living/dining room. | ||

| The second floor contains a bedroom with queen size bed, a loft sitting area (above photograph) with a double fold out couch, a small deck and a bathroom. All linens are provided, fluffy down quilts on comfortable beds, charmingly furnished, immaculately clean. Phone, satellite TV and VCR are also provided. | ||
Here are the directions for getting to Cove Cottage in West Tremont, Maine. Take Interstate 95 to Bangor, Maine. Take exit 45A onto route 395. Go to the end of 395 and take route 1A east towards Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. In Ellsworth go straight through the first traffic light. The route number changes to route 1 and route 3. Stay on route 3 until you cross onto Mount Desert Island. There is a traffic light with an Exxon Station in front of you. Go to the right of the Exxon Station onto route 102. Take route 102 for about 13 miles. You will go through the villages of Somesville and Southwest Harbor and come to a Texaco Station about 2 miles after leaving the village of Southwest Harbor. Continue on route 102 for about 1.5 miles until you come to Richtown Road on the left. There is a sign on the corner for A.C. Parsons landscaping. Turn left onto Richtown Road. At the bottom of the hill you will see Parsons on the right and on the left a gravel road called Gunlow Pond Road. Turn left onto Gunlow Pond Road for a short distance and then left onto Lyford Road. Cove Cottage is the second driveway on the left. |
